New Grant Program Starts October 19

Date: October 18, 2020

Operational support money for small businesses doesn’t have to be paid back

Starting Monday, October 19, you can apply for a new business grant.

The Nevada Office of Economic Development has a new Pandemic Emergency Technical Support Grant Program that makes $20 million available to provide operational support to small businesses, non-profits organizations, and arts and culture organizations.

You do NOT have to pay this back.

Businesses and nonprofits with 50 or fewer employees can receive up to $10,000 for any eligible expenses.

The program is intended to be flexible and ensure that eligible businesses, non-profits and other entities can adequately respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, safely reopen and continue their operations.

Application period begins Monday Oct. 19, 2020 at 8 a.m. and extends through Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 at 5 p.m.
