LINCOLN, Neb., March 12, 2018—Small-business leaders from around Nebraska will gather in Lincoln, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 13, for their annual Small Business Day at the Capitol event, where Gov. Pete Ricketts will give the keynote address at 10:15 a.m.

Top legislative leaders will also be on hand to meet with and make presentations to the Main Street entrepreneurs who are the beating heart of every state’s economy. Topics of discussion during the day will include property tax relief, income tax relief, the budget shortfall, paid leave, and workers’ compensation reform.

The event is co-sponsored by NFIB, Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln Independent Business Association, and Nebraskans for Workers’ Compensation Equity & Fairness.
