Five NFIB Nebraska Policy Meetings Coming Up

Date: August 23, 2019

Members invited to give their thoughts and hear from State Director Bob Hallstrom, Grassroots Manager Jake Braunger

NFIB Nebraska is inviting NFIB members to one of five policy meetings coming up in September. State Director Bob Hallstrom and Grassroots Manager Jake Braunger will provide an update on the latest state and federal lobbying activities and then ask members to contribute their thoughts and ideas.

  • Did you benefit from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act?
  • Would you like to see the lower tax rates and small business tax deduction made permanent?
  • What are your thoughts about the Nebraska Legislature’s consideration of providing property tax relief by increasing the sales tax and repealing sales tax exemptions?

These are just a few of the question that will be raised at the policy meetings. Other topics include next year’s election. Member input is the lifeblood of NFIB, which was the first association in the nation to root its state and federal lobbying activities on what its members, not staff, tell it.

The following events are free but a reservation is required and can be made by clicking the links below. Feel free to register a guest if you’d like as well. (*denotes NFIB-member business)
