Small Business Community Attends NFIB-Jackson Chamber Business Breakfast

Date: March 05, 2024

Roughly 165 members of the small business community in Jackson participated in the event.

In mid-February, NFIB Missouri hosted a Business Breakfast with the Jackson Chamber of Commerce. Roughly 165 participants attended the event, where they discussed the state of small business in Missouri.

During the conversation, NFIB State Director Brad Jones urged Main Street to use their voice to advocate for reform in Jefferson City.

“Whether it be local, state, or federal, you telling the story is a huge part of what makes a huge difference to a policy maker. You are all on the frontlines of the economy, as canaries in the coal mines. Before most folks, you all know when suppliers raise prices or when supply chains get disrupted. It is incumbent lawmakers hear directly from you on the challenges you’re facing.”
