NFIB State Director Dawn McVea tells SuperTalk Mississippi about the year ahead

NFIB State Director Dawn McVea spoke recently with SuperTalk Mississippi about what happened with small business in 2023 and what’s in store in 2024.

“We have a lot of business owners telling us [inflation] is still impacting their day to day…we’ve got 30% of small business owners reporting that they plan to raise wages in the next three months,” McVea told host Gerard Gibert. She said the increase is great for workers, “but that does affect the cost of goods and services. At some point you have to balance that bottom line.”
