As the Illinois General Assembly wraps up this year’s session, lawmakers are considering House Bill 3129, a bill which would mandate that all businesses with 15 employees or more must publish in every job posting for a specific job, a pay range, and a description of benefits offered. Employers who do not follow this mandate will potentially face stiff penalties for each omission.
