U.S. Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux (7th District) and Sanford Bishop (3rd District) joined NFIB State Director Nathan Humphrey, Government Relations Manager Mitch Relfe, and NFIB members recently for virtual meetings to discuss federal taxes, mandates, and other issues critical to Georgia’s small businesses.
Bourdeaux joined NFIB members on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and Bishop met virtually with members on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
“I really want to thank Representative Bourdeaux and Representative Bishop for taking time to listen to our members’ concerns about the proposed new mandates and federal tax increases on small businesses,” Humphrey said. “Our members are doing everything to operate safely, attract and keep qualified workers, and recover from the downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.”The last thing small business owners need right now is a tax increase and additional mandates.”
