Small Business Endorses Plakon in House District 29
Tallahassee, September 9, 2014 – The National Federation of Independent Business, Florida’s leading small-business association, today announced its endorsement of Scott Plakon in House District 29.
“Scott, an NFIB member himself, has owned and operated a small business for more than two decades and understands the challenges facing our state’s entrepreneurs,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB/Florida Executive Director. “During his time in the legislature, Scott was committed to small business issues and improving the economy, and we look forward to working with him again to continue to make Florida the most business-friendly state in the country.”
Plakon served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2008-2012 and compiled a 100% NFIB voting record.
The endorsement comes from the NFIB/Florida SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action committee for NFIB/Florida’s membership, and is based on candidates’ positions regarding key small-business issues including healthcare, taxes, and labor and regulatory issues.
