Nationwide, higher healthcare costs associated with the Affordable Care Act have erased 300,000 small business jobs.
For Florida small business owners, the Affordable Care Act has been anything but affordable.
According to a new report, the embattled law has cost the state 17,950 small business jobs across 620 business establishments. The American Action Forum, a policy institute, found that the law has had “dire” consequences for the labor market—particularly small businesses.
Nationwide, the law has erased 300,000 small business jobs due to higher healthcare costs.
