Balance Billing Passes House Committee, Good News for Small Business

January 19, 2016, Tallahassee – The following is a statement from NFIB/Florida’s
Legislative Director Tim Nungesser on the passage of House Bill 221 in the
House Subcommittee on Insurance and Banking:

“NFIB/Florida stands up for Florida consumers and applauds the passage of HB221.
Stopping the practice of balance billing will go a long way toward protecting Floridians
and tackling some of the healthcare issues that plague small business owners
and their employees.”
