Disaster Preparedness: Protecting Louisiana's Power Grid

Peter Vincent Pry, executive director of the EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) Task Force on National and Homeland Security and a consultant to the Louisiana Public Service Commission, will discuss the potential threats to the state’s power grid at a presentation from 9:45 a.m. to noon on Sept. 14. The presentation will be held at the Louisiana State Police Academy, Building A, 7901 Independence Blvd., in Baton Rouge.

Topics will include the possibility of cyber and physical attacks on the state’s power grid. The presentation will be held at the Louisiana State Police Academy, Building A, 7901 Independence Blvd., in Baton Rouge.
