Small Business Endorses Josie Tomkow in House District 39

Date: March 21, 2018

Tallahassee, March 21, 2018 – The National Federation of Independent Business, Florida’s leading small-business association, today announced its endorsement of Josie Tomkow in the May 1 election in House District 39. The endorsement was made by the NFIB Florida PAC, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Josie understands small business, and her dedication to keeping taxes low and continuing to grow our economy make her the best candidate to represent small business owners in House District 39,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB/Florida Executive Director.

“Small business is the pillar of our economy – as a small businesswoman I understand just how important it is we have organizations that fight for free enterprise and innovation in the marketplace,” Tomkow said. “I’m proud to have the support of the small businessmen and women who help grow our economy and continue to make our state more prosperous.”

The NFIB Florida PAC endorsement is based on a candidate’s voting record and interviews regarding key small-business issues including healthcare, taxes, tort, labor, and regulatory issues. The endorsement brings the considerable grassroots support of nearly 10,000 of Florida’s small businesses.
