The NFIB Tennessee PAC has endorsed Bill Lee for governor. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members in Tennessee.
“Bill Lee is the clear choice for Tennessee’s small-business owners, their employees, and their families,” said NFIB State Director Jim Brown, who announced the endorsement at a campaign event at Ruby Falls, an NFIB member business in Chattanooga.
“As a member of NFIB, Bill Lee understands the challenges of building a business,” Brown said. “He knows how difficult it can be for employers to find qualified applicants, and he’s committed to giving students the tools they’ll need to enter the workforce. He understands higher taxes, and burdensome rules and regulations make it harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs. He understands that the best way government can help the business community is to clear a path so they can succeed.

Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Lee’s campaign. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to vote. NFIB will encourage its Tennessee members to help turn out the powerful small-business voting bloc on Election Day.
