The NFIB Texas PAC, the political action committee of the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, has endorsed Drew Springer in the Senate District 30 special election. The PAC is comprised exclusively of NFIB members. The special election is Sept. 29.
“Our members support the candidates who support small business, and Drew Springer has done that as a member of the Texas House,” NFIB State Director Annie Spilman said. “Since he was first elected to the House in 2013, Drew Springer has achieved a 100% NFIB Voting Record and earned the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award. Drew Springer understands the challenges of running a small business in Texas, and we believe he’s the best candidate for state Senate.”
Springer said, “Small Business is the backbone of Texas, and it is great to work together in strengthening the entrepreneurial environment in Texas. It is an honor to be endorsed by NFIB, and I look forward to working together next session for the benefit of small businesses.”
The NFIB Texas PAC endorsement is critical to candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB Texas PAC’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
