NFIB Endorses Colin Schmitt for Congress

ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 22, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Colin Schmitt for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent New York’s 18th Congressional District.

“Colin Schmitt has experience as a businessman and as a member of the New York State Assembly, he voted with small businesses 100% of the time,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “He knows the issues New York’s small businesses are currently facing and has pledged to focus on tax relief and regulatory reform in Washington to strengthen the small business economy. We look forward to continuing to work with him.”

“On behalf of New York’s small business owners, we are proud to endorse Colin Schmitt today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We know he will support pro-small business policies and will be a strong advocate for them in Congress.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
