A bipartisan slate of state and national political experts will preview this year’s elections at “Small Business Decision 2020,” a forum hosted by the North Carolina office of NFIB.
The forum will be 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Arena West at PNC Arena in Raleigh.
Speakers will include:
- Jim Ellis, a political consultant and publisher of EllisInsight.com
- Morgan Jackson, a Democratic strategist and co-founder of Nexus Strategies
- Paul Shumaker, a Republican strategist and president of Capitol Communications
- Jess Stanford, Sr. Analyst with the Carolina Demography Center at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
- Sharon Sussin, NFIB’s national political director
“The 2020 elections will be critical election for North Carolina’s small business community,” said Gregg Thompson, the National Federation of Independent Business’ state director.
“Our goal is to tell our members what to expect on Super Tuesday and in November, why North Carolina has become a swing state, and how they can make a difference at the polls,” Thompson said.
“The biggest question on the minds of our members is, who are the best candidates for the small business community and how will the election outcomes affect my bottom line,” added Thompson.
The cost is $50 and includes lunch. Register by clicking here, or call 919-833-9480.
