OLYMPIA, Wash., June 28, 2018—The political action committee for the state’s leading small-business association today announced its first round of endorsements for the Washington State Legislature. The endorsements of 20 incumbents running for re-election, one candidate running in an open seat, and one state representative running for state senate were made by the NFIB Washington PAC.

“The incumbents endorsed today have proven themselves as true champions of free enterprise and entrepreneurship by their votes on key issues affecting Main Street, mom-and-pop small businesses,” said Patrick Connor, Washington state director for NFIB. “We based our endorsements of incumbent legislators on votes they cast on 10 vital issues during the 2017-2018 session of the Washington State Legislature. A record of at least 90 percent was required for endorsement. We are also proud to endorse one of our own, NFIB Washington Leadership Council member Kelly Chambers, for an open state house seat. Kelly is a passionate, determined advocate for small business and the families and communities they serve. She will be an outstanding addition to the voice of small business in the Legislature.”

The second round of endorsements will be made later this summer following the August 7 Primary Election. The small-business vote is one of the most powerful in the nation. Click here to see why. Today’s NFIB Washington PAC endorsements were:
