Date: February 28, 2018

Midwestern-Nice has never been more true in Ohio, according to a new report.

FreshBooks, the cloud-based accounting service, found that Ohio small business owners rank as the No. 3 most-likely to use “please” and “thank you” on their invoices. In fact, the study found that 21 percent of all invoices generated in the states use at least one of those phrases.

Ohio ranked behind Alabama (27 percent) and Oklahoma (49 percent). Tennessee business owners ranked last at 6 percent, tied with Utah.
