When entrepreneurs and startups are looking for
a place to set up shop, they may want to consider one of the six North Carolina
cities that made WalletHub’s 2016 list of Best Large Cities to Start a
Business. All six cities ranked in the top 30.
WalletHub sought to give aspiring entrepreneurs
a boost by letting them know the locations that would give them the best
chances for long-term prosperity. To compile the list, analysts compared the
startup opportunities, based on 16 key metrics, in the 150 most populated U.S.
cities. Metrics included five-year survival rate, office space affordability,
and education of the local workforce.
