Member Meetings Coming to Loveland, August 15, La Junta, August 17

Date: July 26, 2017

Two state senators, two state representatives to speak at small-business events.

The impact of state and federal regulations on small-business owners will be the main topic at a gathering of NFIB members on August 15 in Loveland and on August 17 in La Junta.

NFIB/Colorado State Director Tony Gagliardi will provide an update on the status of federal regulations, such as the overtime rule and Waters of the United States proposal, as well as the changes coming out of the recently concluded session of the Colorado General Assembly.

Special guests for the Loveland meeting will be Sen. Vicki Marble and Reps. Lori Saine and Hugh McKean. They will provide a look into what the 2018 session of the Colorado Legislature portends for small business. Sen. Larry Crowder will do the same at the La Junta meeting.

There is no cost to attend, but a reservation is required and can be made by email here to NFIB Administrative Assistant Mary Meinzer or by calling her at 303-860-1778. NFIB members and guests are asked to pay for their own breakfast at the Loveland meeting and for their own lunch at the La Junta meeting.

Putting our members in direct contact with the officials who make the policies and rules their enterprises must operate under is one of the many benefits of membership in NFIB.
