Governor Proclaims March 29 National Federation of Independent Business Day in Colorado

State’s chief executive commemorates 75th anniversary of America’s voice of small business

NFIB thanks Gov. John Hickenlooper for proclaiming March 29 National Federation of Independent Business Day

“We’re honored to have our state’s chief executive commemorate us on our 75th year of work on behalf of Main Street, mom-and-pop enterprises,” said NFIB Colorado State Director Tony Gagliardi, “and we thank him for his kind words about us.”

In his proclamation, the governor wrote, “Coloradans are today encouraged to recognize and celebrate the significant and enduring contributions of the National Federation of Independent Business to the economic vitality of our state.”

National Federation of Independent Business Day will be on the same day as the association’s annual Small Business Day at the Capitol event. The entire proclamation can be read by clicking the graphic below.
