Private enterprise, public service experience called the right recipe for what Sacramento needs
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 25, 2020—The political action committee for California’s leading small-business association today announced its endorsement of Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh for the open 23rd District State Senate seat.
“Rosilicie personifies those two great qualities that make for better public officials: successfully entrepreneurial and deeply committed to the betterment of her community,” said John Kabateck, California state director for NFIB, the state’s leading small-business association. “As a realtor, she’s put the American Dream of homeownership directly in the hands of families, and as a school board member and English-language teacher, she’s worked to help the next generation. Small businesses can count on her to champion their cause.”
The endorsement of Ochoa Bogh was made by the NFIB CA PAC and based on responses to a questionnaire. Opponent Abigail Medina did not return the questionnaire.
The 23rd Senate District includes the San Bernardino County communities of Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Highland, Loma Linda, Phelan, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, most of the city of San Bernardino, and Yucaipa; and the Riverside County communities of Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Hemet, Menifee, and San Jacinto.
