Phoenix Launches Small Business Grant Program

Date: December 06, 2021

Money can also be used for day-to-day operational expenses

The City of Phoenix has launched a small business grant program offering grants of up to $15,000 to small businesses. The grant funds can be used for any expense classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a “business deduction.” For example, a small business can use the money for day-to-day operational expenses like payroll, rent, mortgage, utilities, and suppliers. The funds may also be used to address workforce challenges by providing funding for employee retention and hiring bonuses or new or expanded employee benefits.

Applications will be accepted up until April 15, 2022, unless all grant money has been awarded. For more information, click here.
