Energy Upgrade Website Helps Small Businesses Save

Date: December 06, 2017

NFIB/California recently teamed up with Energy Upgrade California, a statewide customer engagement initiative committed to empowering all Californians and small businesses to lower their cost of doing business by becoming energy stewards. The program aims to help California in its effort to double energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% before 2030 through education and consumer engagement.

As the voice of small business in California, we are proud to be part of the Energy Upgrade California community. Implementing good energy management practices will not only help clean up our environment, but it will mean lower costs of doing business through reduced energy bills. It’s a win-win.

Energy Upgrade California’s broad coalition is only growing, which is why they’ve created an engaging website which features an online coalition pledge form, where other energy-conscious organizations can sign up and join the Do Your Thing™ movement online. It also features a resources page with shareable social media content and the Energy Upgrade California monthly newsletters, an up-to-date list of our CBO partners and other program information.

Take a moment to check out www.energyupgradecacommunity.org now and share with your colleagues who might be interested in joining and learning more about how to lower their energy costs through simple changes to their energy use!
