Alert! Primary election is August 28

Date: August 16, 2018

Florida’s primary election is Tuesday, August 28. It’s vital that you vote for pro-small-business candidates.

Small business owners are finally seeing the fruits of their labors in Florida. Thanks to a pro-business administration and legislature, taxes have been cut and regulations have been streamlined. Small business owners across the country are reporting record optimism levels thanks to business-focused legislation such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which is yielding big dividends for small business owners, their employees, and their communities.

But now more than ever, it’s crucial that we fight to keep this momentum by supporting candidates who support small business.

In Florida, the NFIB Florida PAC recently endorsed 76 candidates who have demonstrated their support of small business issues and committed to working with NFIB to help Florida maintain its pro-small-business climate.

If you’re an NFIB member, see which federal candidates have also earned the support of small business through the NFIB Fed Pac.

It’s not only vital that you vote but that you also help educate the people around you. You have a lot more power than you think. Click The Power of the Small Business Vote to learn more.

Early voting has begun in many counties in Florida. Check the dates in your county by finding your Supervisor of Elections page. You can also check your candidates and find your polling place here.
