What's in Store for Tennessee Small Businesses in 2017?

Date: December 12, 2016

Hello, Friends!

First, thank you for being an NFIB member. It has been a tough last few years for small business, but I am very proud of what the NFIB team has accomplished on your behalf, blocking many excessive regulations and taking federal agencies to court to halt their anti-small business agenda.

NFIB has never been more relevant – and necessary – especially at the federal level!

While much uncertainty still exists after the election, we are seeing clarity in some areas. The Trump cabinet appears to be more business friendly and keen on unlocking the small business engine that has been stalling in recent years.

On the state level, Tennessee will have some important debates around a likely gas tax proposal, occupational licensing reforms and healthcare reform. Please respond quickly to any special surveys you see from us.

NFIB is indeed the Voice of Small Business, but ONLY when YOU speak up!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, and blessings in 2017 to you, your family, your business and your employees!
