This year’s legislative session has barely began, and policymakers already have small business owners in their crosshairs.

Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf is pushing for a minimum wage hike from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour, and indexing future increases to inflation—much to the chagrin of small business owners across the state.

At NFIB, we believe that small businesses are an essential component of the social and economic fabric of our communities, our state and our nation. The entrepreneurial spirit captured by each of you is the essence of the American dream. And as the legislative session begins, we will continue to fight for your right to own, operate and grow your small business.
