An Update from Your NFIB/New Jersey State Director

Date: August 18, 2015

The NFIB New Jersey team is gearing up for the General Assembly election which will take place on November 3, 2015.

Currently the NFIB New Jersey team is gearing up for the General Assembly election which will take place on November 3, 2015. While we don’t expect the composition of the Assembly to change much after the election, we are closely examining each race and candidate in order to make recommendations to you, our members, so you can be informed before entering the voting booth.

In early fall we will be releasing a vote record for each incumbent candidate along with our endorsements. Interestingly, only eight incumbents out of 80 Assembly members are not running for re-election in 2015. We will be taking a close look at these open seats in hopes that we can identify some pro-business candidates to support.

Keep an eye out for our voter guide, which will be delivered to you via mail. We will also list our recommendations online and will alert you of our endorsements in a future edition of this newsletter. We also plan to host meet at greet events with our endorsed candidates.
