An Update from your NFIB/New Jersey State Director

Thank you for your continued membership with NFIB.
It is a privilege to represent you in Trenton and Washington DC.
The 2015 Legislative Session has begun and we will be discussing issues of significance to small business in every issue of NFIB Local throughout the session.
Important issues on our radar are continued opposition to mandated sick leave, advocating for the phase out and repeal of New Jersey’s onerous inheritance tax law and fighting a proposed increase of the gasoline tax and participating in the discussion to responsibly replenish the New Jersey Transportation Trust Fund which is quickly running out of money to repair the state’s failing bridges and roads.
If you have an issue that is of particular concern to you and your business, please contact me.

I look forward to hearing from you!
Laurie Ehlbeck
NFIB/New Jersey State Director
