Date: January 19, 2023

Policy expert to discuss small business legislation to watch in 118th Congress

NFIB’s new podcast, the Small Business Rundown, will air its first episode on January 26. The Small Business Rundown podcast will offer small business owners an inside source in Washington, D.C. and state capitals. NFIB’s Senior Vice President of Advocacy Adam Temple will host guests and experts as they analyze current issues and news that directly affect small businesses across the nation, including legislation, regulations, Supreme Court cases, and more.

The first-ever episode of the Small Business Rundown will focus on the beginning of the 118th Congress and the pro-small business legislative agenda NFIB brings to both new and returning members of Congress. Every year, the grassroots network of NFIB members votes on their NFIB Member Ballots to determine which positions NFIB should take on key small business issues. Those priorities are reflected in a new Small Business Growth Agenda for the 118th Congress. NFIB’s Vice President of Federal Government Relations Kevin Kuhlman will join Adam for an overview of some of NFIB’s top-priority issues for the new two-year session of Congress and what small business owners can be looking out for.

A new episode of the Small Business Rundown will air every two weeks to bring small business owners the latest small business news and resources. It will be available on Spotify.
