Ohio Among Least Impacted by Government Shutdown

On Dec. 22, 2018, the United States government shut down for the 21st time in the country’s history. With the shutdown affecting millions of Americans, government workers, and small business owners.

According to the recent study by Wallethub, Ohio is ranked 42nd, putting the state among the least-affected states in the nation.

The five most-affected states are District of Columbia, New Mexico. Maryland, Hawaii, Alaska, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arizona. The ten least-affected states include Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.
