Dawn Starns, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, said today that David Vitter has earned the endorsement of Louisiana’s leading small-business association. The endorsement comes from the NFIB/Louisiana SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action committee for NFIB’s membership in Louisiana.

“Our members support the candidates who support small business, and David Vitter has proven that he not only understands the challenges facing our small, family businesses but will do everything in his power to find solutions,” Starns said.
NFIB’s political support is based on the the candidate’s positions and unwavering track record as a genuine advocate on small-business issues, Starns said.
“David Vitter clearly understands that in order to create jobs and improve the economy, you have to support Louisiana’s real job creators, its small businesses,” Starns said. “Because of his record, first as a member of the state House of Representatives, then as U.S. Representative and as Louisiana’s senior senator, David Vitter is far and away the best choice for Louisiana’s small business owners, their employees and their families.”
Today’s endorsement puts the considerable grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind Vitter. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and actively encourage their friends, family members and acquaintances to vote.
