Exciting changes are happening in NFIB’s DC office! Jessica Cooper, former Maryland and Delaware State Director, has been promoted to Grassroots Director and Sarah Feagan, former Political Programs Coordinator, has been promoted to Grassroots Program Manager. The new Grassroots team will be working hard to supplement and support our federal and state teams in the fight for small business.
Jessica grew up in California, where her parents owned and operated an ice cream shop, a karate dojo, and a family-owned financial practice. “Growing up, my brothers and I worked at all three businesses,” giving her a firsthand understanding of both the unique challenges small business owners face and the benefits small businesses provide our communities.
Sarah hails from Michigan, and her first job was also working for her dad at his small manufacturing company. “Growing up I learned to appreciate the tremendous work that goes into creating jobs, remaining compliant and contributing to the community,” she said. “That experience helps to motivate what I do at NFIB every day.”
