May 1, 2026

Faber provided a small business update for members

Last month, members of NFIB’s Ohio Leadership Council met for its second quarter meeting to discuss the latest small business news. Ohio Auditor Keith Faber joined to give an update on how his office is working on reducing fraud and making sure tax dollars are being spent responsibly.

Small business owners talked about several legislative issues, including property tax proposals, data centers and energy costs, and the upcoming Primary Election.

Following the event, State Director Jared Weiser said, “There are plenty of challenges on the horizon for small businesses, but our members aren’t missing a beat. We appreciate Auditor Faber for taking the time to meet with Ohio small business leaders and continue to prioritize Main Street businesses.”
