Digital Ads Urge Support for ‘Main Street Champions’

Digital Ads Urge Support for ‘Main Street Champions’

March 5, 2024 Last Edit: July 25, 2024

The NFIB Ohio PAC encourages voters to vote for pro-small business candidates in the March 19 primary.

“A lot is riding on the outcome of this year’s legislative races, including property tax relief, easing the regulatory burden on Main Street businesses, and stopping lawsuit abuse,” NFIB State Director Chris Ferruso said. “It’s essential that Ohioans support the candidates who will support small businesses.”

The digital ads direct readers to a special website, NFIB.com/BuckeyeChampions, which includes information on voting hours and locations and a list of the six legislative candidates endorsed by the NFIB Ohio PAC in the March 19 primary. They are:

  • George Lang (Senate District 4)
  • Kyle Koehler (Senate District 10)
  • Brian Stewart (House District 12)
  • Adam Mathews (House District 56)
  • Jon Cross (House District 83)
  • Don Jones (House District 95)

The NFIB Ohio PAC’s endorsement is critical to the candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for urging friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. The NFIB Ohio PAC’s support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.

U.S. Senate candidates

NFIB asked the major candidates running for U.S. Senate if they would like to speak directly to NFIB members and other Ohio small business owners. These are the candidates who responded.
