Rep. Walberg discussed making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent

NFIB member and small business owner Bernie Williamson hosted Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) at her business, North Star Landscape Design and Installation, for a tour of the business and a discussion on the recent 20% Small Business Deduction tax win. Congress made the Small Business Deduction permanent in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

“Making the Small Business Deduction permanent was extremely important for my small business, and it was a pleasure to thank Congressman Walberg today for helping make it happen,” said Bernie Williamson. “We are grateful Rep. Walberg spent the morning at North Star Landscape Design and Installation, learning more about the daily operations of a small business and the challenges we are facing.”

NFIB Michigan State Director Amanda Fisher said, “We’re thankful that Congressman Walberg took the time to meet with Michigan small businesses today and for delivering permanent tax relief for small businesses nationwide.”
