National gathering lobbied Congress on two big legislative priorities

NFIB Idaho thanks its Leadership Council member Alyssa Bowman for making the trek to Washington D.C. to participate in NFIB’s June 9-11 Fly-In event.

During the two-day advocacy event, small business owners from around the nation met with lawmakers to share their unique stories on how the 20% Small Business Deduction has helped grow their business and the impact it will have if it expires.

The event also focused on other top small business issues, including the need for Congress to repeal onerous Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting mandate.

NFIB also thanks Idaho Sen. Jim Risch and Rep. Russ Fulcher for meeting with Bowman and other NFIB members. In the first photo below, the Senator, center, is joined by Bowman, right, and NFIB Vice President of State Government Relations Tim Goodrich. Below it, Rep. Fulcher, (third from right) meets with NFIB members, and below it, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson gives the keynote address at the Fly-In.
