NFIB hosted its annual event on May 20, 2025
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization, hosted its annual Small Business Day in Columbus. Small business owners gathered at the Ohio Statehouse to meet with several elected officials, including Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel, on the most pertinent small business issues.
“Small Business Day is the perfect opportunity for NFIB members to meet with their elected officials and discuss the small business community,” said Chris Ferruso, NFIB Ohio State Director. “This year, small business owners had the chance to speak with Lt. Gov. Tressel directly about taxes and small business regulations. We appreciate our members and this year’s guests for attending NFIB’s 2025 Small Business Day.”
In addition to Lt. Gov. Tressel, Ohio Speaker of the House Rep. Matt Huffman, and President of the Ohio Senate Sen. Rob McColley also gave a legislative update on the current small business legislation being considered.
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
