NFIB Endorses Rep. Claudia Tenney for Re-Election

ALBANY, N.Y. (Aug. 10, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Rep. Claudia Tenney for re-election to the United States House of Representatives to represent New York’s 24th Congressional District.

“Congresswoman Tenney is a proven supporter of New York’s small businesses,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “She has promoted pro-small business policies during her time in Congress, including co-sponsoring the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, which would make the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent and benefit small businesses across the nation. As a longtime NFIB member and small business owner, Congresswoman Tenney has the unique understanding of what it takes to run a small business and recognizes the challenges our members face daily. She has earned a 100% NFIB voting record for this term, further proving her dedication to small businesses. We are proud to endorse her for re-election and look forward to continuing to work with her.”

“Small businesses need reliable representation in Congress, and we are confident Congresswoman Tenney will continue to be a pro-small business Member of Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She has been a steadfast supporter of New York’s small businesses with a strong voting record on the issues most important to them. We are pleased to endorse Congresswoman Tenney for re-election to the U.S. House.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
