Washington Small Businesses Endorse Rep. Dan Newhouse for Re-election

OLYMPIA, Wash. (July 12, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative Dan Newhouse for re-election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Washington’s 4th Congressional District. “Washington’s small business community is proud to endorse Rep. Newhouse for re-election,” said Patrick Connor, NFIB Washington State Director. “As a third-generation small business owner and farmer, Rep. Newhouse understands the issues important to Washington’s small business owners, especially for small business landowners. He serves as the Chairman of the Western Caucus and has fought against harmful legislation and regulations, including a new Waters of the United States rule which would be damaging for small businesses throughout the state. We look forward to continuing to work with him.” “Rep. Newhouse is a proven advocate for Washington’s small businesses,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “In addition to being a champion of land rights for small business owners, he has opposed government overreach and burdensome mandates. Washington’s small businesses are pleased to endorse him today.” The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
