What Issues Matter to Your Small Business?
What it means: The newest NFIB Member Ballot is open for voting. The results from the ballot guide the top issues NFIB advocates for on behalf of small business owners.
NFIB members can vote on their ballot at NFIB.com/VoteMyBallot.
NFIB’s federal Member Ballot launched on August 23. All NFIB members can now vote on issues that matter to their small business. These votes drive NFIB’s advocacy efforts.
As a member-driven organization, NFIB relies on a one member, one vote balloting system for its small business owner members. The almost 300,000 NFIB members are asked to vote on timely small business policies, answering questions about their positions on small business legislative and regulatory issues. This ballot includes questions regarding:
- Union enforcement of labor laws
- Health insurance
- Ergonomics
- Lawsuit protection
- Paid family and medical leave
