Douglas W. Gilfillan

Doug Gilfillan focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, cyber-crime and data breach responses, grand jury investigations, government regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. A former federal prosecutor, Doug has acted as lead counsel and tried numerous cases to jury verdict in a wide variety of white collar criminal cases.

While at the United States Attorney’s Office, Doug worked closely with the FBI’s cyber and white collar crime squads, cyber-crime agents with the Secret Service, and numerous other federal law enforcement agencies. In addition to serving as the Office’s liaison with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Doug worked closely with the SEC and other civil regulatory authorities in investigations and prosecutions involving parallel criminal and civil investigations and litigation.
