Despite answering “Hell no. No, no, no, no, no.” when asked by the media if she was considering tax increases, Governor Maura Healey refiled legislation allowing municipalities to increase local option taxes on meals, occupancy, and vehicles.
NFIB submitted testimony to both the House and Senate Revenue Committees opposing Governor McKee’s plans to tax digital advertisements and to increase the administrative fee overseeing the state’s workers’ compensation fund.
