Texas Small Businesses Endorse U.S. Senator John Cornyn for Re-Election

AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 2, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Senator John Cornyn for re-election to the United States Senate to represent Texas.

“For more than 80 years, NFIB has fought to protect America’s small and independent businesses, and Sen. John Cornyn has been a consistent and reliable partner in that mission,” said Jeff Burdett, NFIB Texas State Director. “He understands that small businesses are the backbone of our economy and has stood with NFIB members on our core priorities: lower taxes, fewer regulations, and policies that allow job creators to grow and thrive. NFIB’s FedPAC is proud to endorse Sen. Cornyn for re-election, and we look forward to continuing our work together on behalf of Texas small businesses.”

“We are pleased to endorse Sen. Cornyn for re-election today,” said Louis Bertolotti, NFIB Acting Political Director. “He has been a consistent voice for Texas small businesses and stood with small business owners across the country to ensure the 20% Small Business Deduction was made permanent. We are thankful for his strong pro-Main Street voting record and look forward to continuing to work together.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
