You have several weeks to make the voice of small business heard at the polls
Early voting is underway for Virginia’s Aug. 4 primary election, meaning you have several weeks to cast your ballots before Election Day. Early, in-person voting began on June 19 and continues through Saturday, Aug. 1.
Here are some important dates to remember:
-
July 24: Last day to register to vote or update your voter registration for a regular ballot. This is also the deadline to request that a ballot be mailed to you.
-
Aug. 1: Last day for early, in-person voting.
-
Aug. 4: Primary Election Day. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters who register after July 24 may still vote using a provisional ballot through Election Day.
For more information about the Virginia, including how to register, find your polling place, and view sample ballots, visit the NFIB Voting Hub.
