NFIB small business owner members discuss top priorities with Rep. Pfluger
SAN ANGELO, TX (July 29, 2026) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the state’s leading small business advocacy organization, hosted a roundtable discussion with U.S. Rep. August Pfluger (TX-11). Held at The Original Henry’s, an NFIB member small business in San Angelo, the roundtable was an opportunity for small business owner members to visit with Rep. Pfluger on a host of issues, including the Small Business Tax Deduction, repealing the Corporate Transparency Act, and Main Street’s support for the Credit Card Competition Act.
“It was great to have Rep. Pfluger here to meet with our members,” NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett said. “Rep. Pfluger understands the challenges small business owners face and consistently stands up for Main Street. Our members were grateful for the opportunity to thank Rep. Pfluger for his support in making the 20% Small Business Deduction permanent. His vote helped stop a massive tax hike on small businesses, providing long-term tax certainty.”
