What Does the Latest NFIB Small Business Optimism Index Say About AL?

NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash says the August NFIB Small Business Economic Trends Survey reflects the challenges facing Alabama’s small business community.
“Small business owners say business conditions are looking up, but many of them are still having a hard time finding job applicants with the skills and experience they’re looking for,” she said.

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index rose 0.5 points in August to 100.8, nearly 3 points above the 52-year average of 98. Click here to learn more.
