NFIB State Director Brad Jones discusses the latest optimism and jobs report on Wake Up Missouri

In a conversation with Wake Up Missouri, NFIB State Director Brad Jones discussed the latest findings of NFIB’s Small Business Economic Trends (SBET) and Jobs reports.

“The other metric that really concerns me is the plans to make capital outlays,” Jones said. “That’s spending money on yourself. That’s spending money and reinvesting in your business. That has been down every month since January. That means you don’t have the optimism to want to invest more money into your business and expand it, or grow it, or improve it. I think that number is a little bit problematic.”
