We'll take your stories to legislators considering lawsuit abuse reform in Louisiana

TAKE THE SURVEY: Has a Lawsuit Impacted Your Small Business?

Some state legislators are trying to ensure the scales of justice are balanced in Louisiana. They support legislation that would stop lawsuit abuse and ensure both sides are treated fairly. NFIB knows that small businesses operate on thin margins and that the cost of settling or defending a small business against just one frivolous claim can be devastating, even if a judge eventually throws the case out of court. That’s why we’re asking you to tell us your stories. We want to know whether your small business has been sued and what impact that had on your business and your employees. Click here and complete this brief survey. We’ll use the information to show legislators how devastating just one frivolous claim can be to a small business, and don’t worry. We won’t share your name or the name of your business with anyone without your permission.
