Protect Connecticut’s Unemployment Fund

Tell your legislators to OPPOSE SB 8 & HB 6904.

The Connecticut legislature is considering legislation that would extend unemployment benefits to workers on strike. Senate Bill 8 and House Bill 6904 would fundamentally alter the purpose of the Unemployment Trust Fund by allowing individuals who voluntarily leave their jobs to receive benefits funded by employer-paid taxes. This is unfair to small businesses, financially irresponsible, and sets a dangerous precedent that distorts the unemployment system.

Tell your legislators to stand with Connecticut’s small businesses by opposing SB 8 & HB 6904!
